TV Geek Out 80: 30 Rock, "Generalissimo" and "St. Valentine's Day"

It’s finally here! It’s finally here! The collision of two TV Geek Out favorites!!! Mad Men’s Jon Hamm finally makes it onto 30 Rock, and Dana, Perry, and Heather are so geeked that they discuss his first two episodes. Maria Thayer played the blind woman in the Valentine’s Day episode, and was Jack McBrayer's fiancée in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.” Coincidence? You decide!

Also, mainstream Catholics don't make a big deal about going to mass on St. Valentine's Day (it's not a holy day of obligation), but I think it was a sly joke, suggesting that an extremely devout, ultra-conservative branch might go so far as to mark even that minor feast day with going to church. Weren't all the women wearing veils? That's a clue.
